FAQ
The Community Pool
The swimming season is typically long and sunny, commencing on April 1st (or earlier if Easter falls before that date) and continuing until November 1st, though the exact closing date is always subject to favorable weather conditions.
Open daily from 9:00 to 21:00, the pool area is a shared space where a few simple rules ensure a pleasant experience for all residents and guests.
If others are using your apartment, please ensure that your guests/tenants are also fully aware of the pool rules.
We kindly ask that you shower before entering to remove oils and lotions, and remember that children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
To be fair to everyone, sunbeds and umbrellas may not be reserved by placing towels unless the occupants are actually inside the pool.
For safety, glass objects and street clothes/footwear are not permitted in the area, nor should food or snacks be brought in, to discourage unwanted ‘visitors.’
Additionally, items like snorkels, diving, balls, and airbeds are only allowed when the pool is empty.
Please put larger rubbish in the street containers instead of the small ones at the swimming pool or the terrace bins.
It’s very little effort.
We kindly request that, outside of the main pool season, you only use the sunbeds on the two artificial grass terraces. This is to allow us to reseed the main lawn. As an added benefit, these terraces also catch more sun during the autumn and winter months! 😀
⚠️ Risk of Clogging and Leakage : Alert to Penthouse owners/tenants
The Risk of Clogging and Leakage
During the autumn and winter, terraces are highly susceptible to becoming clogged with leaves and debris. This buildup can impede drainage, causing water to pool and potentially leading to leakage into the apartment below or surrounding structures.
This is a particularly high risk for the drain located near the upstairs bathroom.
Your Maintenance Responsibility
It is essential that we ensure these drains are thoroughly cleared before the start of a more rainy season.
-
Clear the Debris: Remove all leaves and debris from the drain covers and the surrounding area.
-
Drain Cover Tip (for Absences): If your unit will be vacant for an extended period, you may consider placing the drain cover partially offset (or slightly ajar). This allows for better drainage while still protecting the pipe from large debris.
Action if You Are Absent
If you are not present or able to carry out this essential preparation:
-
Please ensure that Mar can obtain a key from one of your trusted contacts (daily after 20.00)
-
This will allow Javier to access your terrace and perform the necessary maintenance and drain clearing on your behalf.
🏖️ Do not hang towels or laundry over the balcony
Why is it forbidden to hang towels or laundry over the balcony?
Hanging towels, swimwear, or laundry over the balcony railing is strictly prohibited for several important reasons:
-
Aesthetics and Image: Our goal is to maintain a high-quality, neat, and appealing appearance for the entire property. Towels and laundry draped over railings detract significantly from the resort’s visual aesthetic, impacting the experience for all guests.
-
Water Damage and Safety: Dripping water from wet items can cascade to the balconies and patios below, potentially causing:
-
Damage to furniture, plants, or property.
-
A slipping hazard on the floors of lower balconies.
-
-
Respect for Fellow Guests: Hanging items can obstruct the view or compromise the privacy of guests on adjacent or lower-level balconies.
Where can I dry my items?
You can put a rack on your terrace. Items must be kept within the confines of the balcony and out of sight from the exterior.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep our property beautiful for everyone.
🌳Maintenance issues?
Dear Neighbors!
Let’s keep our beautiful community looking its best! If you notice anything that needs a little TLC, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Whether it’s a branch that needs trimming 🌳, a cracked tile that needs replacing, or any other maintenance issue you spot, your input is incredibly valuable. A quick heads-up about a small issue prevents it from becoming a big one. Think of it as our collective mission to maintain our shared paradise! Thank you for helping us keep everything running smoothly.
🚪 Security and Keeping Doors Closed
We have noticed that some doors are still being kept open using items like stones or wedges. This practice is strictly prohibited and compromises the security of all guests.
-
Doors must be closed at all times: Both the main entrance green fences and the white entrance doors must always be securely closed when you are not in the immediate vicinity or when you leave the unit.
-
Security Risk: Leaving doors propped open significantly increases the risk of unauthorized entry and theft. We have been fortunate to have a long period without incidents, and we must all cooperate to keep it that way.
⚠️ Important: If you have an issue with your lock or door:
-
Do not use objects to force the door open or keep it propped.
-
Please communicate the issue immediately with our property manager so it can be fixed promptly.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone.
